Back in July this year, right at the start of our long Sydney lockdown we had the pleasure of welcoming Sabrina Scheele to the firm.
Sabrina was admitted as a solicitor in December 2017 and has worked exclusively in family law since 2016. Sabrina provides advice and assistance to individuals experiencing separation and de facto relationship breakdown, divorce, parenting disputes, family violence and matters relating to child support and the division of property.
Sabrina strives to navigate her clients through the family law process in a practical and supportive way as she understands that her clients are experiencing a difficult time in their lives. Her professional, empathetic and plain English approach helps her clients feel comfortable and understand their rights and responsibilities when making decisions. Sabrina aims to resolve matters early where possible and is a strong advocate when representing her clients in the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia.
Prior to joining the firm, Sabrina worked in a generalist firm in the Northern Beaches and a boutique specialist family law firm in North Sydney. Whilst studying at university, Sabrina was selected to intern at the Department of Human Services, giving her direct exposure and experience with the Department’s policies. Her knowledge assists her especially when assisting individuals involved in child support disputes and providing advice about child support arrangements for separated parents.
Sabrina achieved her Masters of Applied Family Law in 2021. She regularly attends specialist law conferences and enjoys reading research reports and policy recommendations conducted by the Australian Institute of Family Studies.
Sabrina’s qualifications include the following:
Bachelor of Laws with Honours
Bachelor of Arts – Psychology
Masters of Applied Family Law
Member – Family Law Section, Australian Law Council
Welcome Sabrina – we are so very happy to have you as part of our crew.
