Masood is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. He holds a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business and Commerce, majoring in Human Resources and Industrial Relations. He has been working in the legal industry since 2015.
Ober the years, Masood has gained experience and practiced in different areas of Law, including, Criminal Law, Civil Litigation, Wills and Estates, and Probate matters, providing comprehensive legal support across areas that often arise in family breakdowns. He now practises exclusively in all areas of Family Law and has built a reputation for his strategic approach and sensitivity in complex and emotional matters.
While he is a skilled and relentless advocate, Masood is deeply committed to resolving disputes outside of court wherever possible. He encourages negotiation, mediation, and alternative family dispute resolution as effective tools for achieving fair and child-focused outcomes.
Court is an option of absolute last resort for Nicholas, with negotiation and Mediation being the preferred options for clients. When Court is required, Nicholas is an experienced and strong advocate, with fellow practitioners highlighting his high levels of preparation and unwavering focus on the best interests of the parties.
When Nicholas is not busy assisting his clients through the ins and outs of their Family Law matters, you can find him tinkering with and window shopping for cars, real estate and bicycles. As much as he hates to admit it, Nicholas can never walk too far away from Family Law in his spare time and can often be found attending professional development seminars and reading legislative amendments and commentary.

Embracing his Italian heritage, Nicholas prefers the simplest of coffees: a doppio espresso “as is” or a macchiato without sugar if it is later in the day. On occasion and to mix things up, you can find Nicholas sipping on a dirty chai latte or a mocha.
His experience spans a wide array of matters, including those involving high net worths, international property disputes, and intricate financial structures involving businesses and companies. He also regularly advises on complex parenting matters such as relocation cases, allegations of serious child abuse or family violence, spousal maintenance, and child support disputes.
Masood recognises that legal matters involving family can be emotionally challenging, and at times, his clients are at their most vulnerable. He makes it a priority to provide a supportive and empathetic environment for his clint’s to ensure their rights and interest are protected. He pursued a career in law to guide families through complex family law matters with an unwavering commitment to achieving his client’s the best possible outcome.
