Ioanita Gentles – Special Counsel

Ioanita is a well-respected and sought after family lawyer, with a 25-year track record in achieving successful outcomes in all areas of family law.

Ioanita has a wealth of professional experience, enabling her to provide her clients with clarity, insight, and support in what is often a confusing and frustrating process.  With a legal background in civil and personal litigation, she is highly skilled in solving the legal and financial problems that arise from relationship breakdowns, often without heading to Court.

Ioanita is naturally approachable, compassionate, and discreet. She will identify your rights and the various options available to enable you to make the best decisions for you and your family’s future.

She holds a Masters of Applied Family Law, is a Nationally Accredited Mediator, a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and the founder and initial President of Collaborative Professionals Northern Beaches, a professional practice group, that helps clients and former partners work through amicable and respectful ways to solve their family law disputes.  

For the past 3 years Ioanita has also been a Director for Women’s Rugby at the Manly Rugby Club and thoroughly enjoys being a part of the women’s Mermaids community and involvement on game days.
